It took me awhile to get all this out
To find the words to say what it’s all about
I’ve written this song a thousand times
Suffice it to say, that you took a dead man, and you gave him life

I might be romanticizing things a bit
But I think you, you might be the reason that I made it

I may never see you, we may never speak
